History
Lynn and Mike Nehez and Jody and David Sills founded Oak Meadow Montessori School in 1993 to offer an alternative school experience for their own children and children in the Lawrenceville area. OMMS moved to its current location in 2000. In 2021, the Nehez and Sills Families gifted the school to the community by creating a non-profit board of trustees and hiring Denise Harold as Head of School. Today, OMMS has grown to 8 classrooms supporting students ages 15 months through sixth grade.

Logo
The triangle in our logo represents the synergies between the school, the family, and the Montessori prepared environment. Each of these components surrounds and supports the child, represented by the tree. Children must grow strong roots in order to grow and reach their potential. At OMMS, we believe a strong foundation of independence and self-discipline allows our students to grow to new heights, realizing their full potential.
