Accreditations
Oak Meadow Montessori School is fully accredited by the American Montessori Society. To become accredited by AMS, a Montessori school must meet and maintain specific rigorous standards of excellence. These standards define and demonstrate the quality and integrity of its program.
OMMS has also been awarded accreditation by the Cognia™ Global Commission, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers.
Cognia, formerly AdvancED, nationally recognizes schools that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation that meets the needs of learners, and effective leadership. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission means that Oak Meadow Montessori School is recognized across the nation as a school that meets Cognia Performance Standards and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement.
Oak Meadow Montessori School is fully licensed by the state of Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) Bright from the Start.
