Mariama Mbacke

Classroom Assistant

Mariama Mbacke is the Upper Elementary classroom assistant in the Maple community. She holds a Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Care Basics and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Georgia State University, with plans to specialize in youth mental health as a therapist. She was introduced to the Montessori philosophy while taking courses through a Dual Enrollment program in high school and has continued exploring it through independent study ever since. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking, spending time with friends, reading, writing, and listening to music.
