Megan Riddell

Lead Guide

Megan Riddell is the Lead Guide in our Chestnut community. With over three years of experience in Montessori schools and recent training for 3–6 year-olds with AMI, she is dedicated to cultivating a love for life-long learning in young hearts and minds. Megan believes in fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive and discover the wonders of the world around them.

Outside the classroom, Megan enjoys exploring the world with her husband and their two children, who also attend OMMS. The family spends a lot of time outdoors, camping and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Megan also enjoys sewing, making crafts, and creating natural, bioactive habitats for their reptiles and arachnids.

The school fosters a supportive parent community with seasonal get-togethers and monthly parent coffee talk meetings.
