Lead Guide & Student Support Specialist

Silvie Vandiver is the Lead Guide in the Magnolia Primary Community and the OMMS Student Support Specialist. She completed a BS in Psychology at the University of Geneva and received her primary level Montessori training through the AMI Montessori Institute of Atlanta. Silvie has over 33 years of experience working with children including 18 years as a Montessori lead guide, 4 years as an assistant, and more! Her experience also includes Sensory Health, RBT training, Orton-Gillingham training, MACAR- Montessori Applied for Children at Risk, BCASE- Board Certified Advocate in Special Education, and Self-Regulation in early childhood.

Silvie has 4 children, all have attended Montessori schools. She enjoys spending time with her children, reading, walking, and learning anything new.
